Gabrielle Mahler has embraced photography since a young age when traveling in Europe with her family. Her curiosity about the world and love of the medium has had her photographing ever since. She is particularly drawn to portraiture, and the intimacy she develops with her subjects is evident in her photographs. She works professionally as a director and producer in television and film, but whenever possible, also pursues photography. Most recently, she shot the cover story for ‘The Jawn’ on capoeira in Philadelphia. |
