ABOUT
I have been taking photographs and recording stories since I was 11 years old when my mother put a Nikon SLR in my hands and whisked my sister and I off on a 2-month road trip through Europe.
From then on, I was hooked - on travel and photography. I continued to travel over the years, whenever possible, with either that very Nikon in my hands, and usually a Bolex or video camera as well.
Over the years I honed my skills as a storyteller by working with networks like the History Channel and The Travel Channel, doing my own personal work, and creating videos and photographs for non-profits. My visual storytelling skills have expanded into social media, blog writing, website content, animation, and advertisement. I enjoy creating integrated campaigns using different mediums to help raise awareness about important social programs or to help elevate brands.
No matter the medium, I strive to bring out the best in the people I meet and tell their stories - peppered with humor whenever possible.
